SuperHero Kids Luncheon and Fashion Show

Posted at September 24, 2014 by Comments Off on SuperHero Kids Luncheon and Fashion Show

Folks got a preview of the Fall fashion season during the SuperHero Kids Luncheon and Fashion Show at the Austin Woman’s Club. Event Chairs Miranda Darr and JoAnn Taylor joined SuperHero Kids founder Samia Joseph in greeting the guests that arrived early to bid on the silent auction treasures. Merchants from all over town proved to be kind again in providing jewelry and styling services. A highlight of the packages was artwork by Jan Heaton, Elaine Leander and Jack Puryear. After a delightful lunch, the fashions of Carlisle Per Se were featured to sustained applause.

100% of all donations to SuperHero Kids go towards direct financial assistance for the families, and programming that will help the children emotionally and physically while battling cancers or blood disorders. The organization has no paid staff–all the work and fundraising is done by volunteers. For more information, please visit
