CASAblanca Gala

Posted at March 4, 2014 by Comments Off on CASAblanca Gala

The annual CASAblanca Gala benefiting CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) brought a steady stream of guests to the Hyatt Regency Austin. Gala Chair Rhonda and Skip Chandler delighted in the full house for the occasion. They had worked with their committee to create a non-stop evening of entertainment for the best of causes–help for children in Travis County who have been abused or neglected.

The choices for guests were plentiful as the event include a live and silent auction, wine pull, photo booth, dining and lots of friends to visit. A particular highlight was honoring  The Honorable John Hathaway for his work as Associate Judge dedicated to the best interests of the children that appear in his court.

CASA of Travis County speaks up for “children who’ve been abused or neglected by empowering our community to volunteer as advocates for them in the court system.” Learn more about CASA at
