Dell Children’s “Storybook Gala”

Posted at January 28, 2014 by Comments Off on Dell Children’s “Storybook Gala”

It was a “Storybook Gala” with a storybook ending for the Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas. Gala Chairs Laura and Tommy Craddick, Jr. called upon an extraordinary committee in creating an enchanting evening that actually lasted into the morning. Guests poured into the Austin Convention Center to enjoy a Royal Reception with thanks to HEB. The reception was followed by dinner and a performance by the Zach Scott Pre-Professional Company. Too full to move, those assembled made the Live Auction and Storytelling quite lively with particular thanks to Milton Verret. Those who were young of heart (and foot) then danced into the late hours with Blue Finger Disco underwritten by EZCorp. Quite a few folks preferred their entertainment sitting at the Casino Lounge with thanks to ConocoPhillips. For the truly stout of heart, there was the AT&T After Party at Trio in the Four Seasons Hotel. The proceeds that soared into the 7 digit category will go to support the Medical Center and its programs.
