The threat of cataclysmic rain proved no deterrent to the crowd that arrived at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden to celebrate 25 years of success with the Austin Smiles program. During those years, Austin Smiles has brought a smile to over 3600 faces around the world. The doctors and technicians have provided nearly 200,000 hours of volunteer service.

On this evening, it was quick work by Event Chair Jamie Barshop, her amazing volunteers and Austin Smiles Executive Director Kendyl Richards to transform the outdoor event to a covered event. Guests arrived to enjoy appetizers and dinner by Lyndie C Catering with desserts by 34th Street Catering. A live auction led by the energetic Gayle Stallings with an astounding assist from firefighter/volunteers from Station 18. Now these fellows all looked like they could hold you upside down until your wallet fell out–but such methods were not needed as the crowd responded with outstanding generosity.
