Imagine whisking that special little princess in your life away to a colorful, sparkling wonderland for a magical evening complete with dancing, fairy ponies, a royal court, entertainment, face painting, crafts, ice cream, a balloon lagoon, and grand tiara crowning ceremony.

Wonders & Worries, a local non-profit organization, is proud to host Wonder Ball for the 5th year in a row!  Wonder Ball is a community event that gives fathers, or father figures (uncles, grandfathers, etc.) and their daughters a chance to make memories that will last a lifetime.

Wonder Ball is THE “don’t miss” event of the year for Austin dads and their daughters. The Ball takes place on Saturday night, April 28, 2012 at Palmer Events Center from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  This year’s event features more than 40 adults in princess costumes, an appearance by ponies from Austin’s Miniature Horse Society, and a grand raffle prize drawing for 4 tickets to Disneyland.

Admission is $100 for a dad and up to 3 daughters, and includes dinner, a souvenir photo, a tiara and magic wand for the girls and complimentary parking. Raffle tickets are $5 each and are only sold at the event. Proceeds benefit Wonders & Worries, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which helps children cope when a parent is diagnosed with a serious or life-threatening illness.

Wonder Ball is organized by a group of community volunteers led by event co-chairs Nancy Klasson and Christine Telch. For more information, visit www.wondersandworries.org, email Jennifer@wondersandworries.org, or call 512-329-5757.
